Alex Eala suffered an early exit in the Canadian Open after a 6-3, 1-6, 2-6 loss to Markéta Vondroušová of the Czech Republic in the first round at the IGA Stadium in Montreal on Monday (Manila time)

The Canadian Open is Eala's first competition after her short break in the Philippines.
