Eighteen national road sections are closed to the public due to the combined effects of the southwest monsoon (habagat), Tropical Cyclone "Crising," and a low-pressure area (LPA), the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) reported Tuesday.
Of the total, 12 national road sections were closed in the National Capital Region (NCR), three in the Cordillera Administrative Region, two in Central Luzon, and one in Western Visayas due to high water elevation, road cuts, soil collapse, and flooding.
Closed roads include:
Apayao (Calanasan)-Ilocos Norte Road, Tanglagan in Calanasan, Apayao
Claveria-Calanasan-Flora-Lasam Road, Barangay Ninoy in Calanasan, Apayao
Kennon Road, Camp 6 in Tuba, Benguet
