President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. on Friday unveiled the Bagong Pilipinas eGov PH Super App and the eGov PH Serbisyo Hub, marking a significant step in the government's effort to modernize and simplify the delivery of public services for Filipinos.
Launched at the Makabagong San Juan National Government Center, the dual initiative aims to eliminate long queues, reduce corruption, and cut through bureaucratic red tape by offering both digital and physical access points for essential government services.
“Walang pila. Walang fixer. Walang korapsyon. Iyan ang makukuha natin dahil sa eGov app at one-stop shop na ating binuksan ngayon,” President Marcos said in his speech during the launch.
The eGov PH Super App, developed by the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), consolidates multiple government services into a single mobile and desktop platform. It allows users to file applications, track requests, verify identities, and soon, make online payments, all without visiting government offices.
“Basta’t may connectivity, hindi na kailangang pumunta sa poblacion o sa opisina ng ahensiya. You can do all of this online — nasa bahay ka lang,” Marcos said.
The President also emphasized how the new platform directly addresses the frustrations of ordinary citizens, many of whom spend hours lining up at government offices, only to be told to return due to incomplete requirements.
“Pupunta ka sa isang opisina. Pipila ka ng dalawang oras… pagkatapos, sasabihan ka pa na kulang ang requirements. Kailangang bumalik. That is impossible for an ordinary citizen,” he said.
In parallel with the app, the eGov PH Serbisyo Hub provides an on-site, one-stop shop for those with limited internet access.
The San Juan pilot hub will be replicated across local government units nationwide, ensuring broader reach and accessibility.
The system is also integrated with the Philippine Identification System, with over 88 million Filipinos now holding digital national IDs. Physical ID distribution is also being ramped up for those who prefer printed credentials.
President Marcos called on all government agencies to support the rollout and encourage adoption of the app, assuring that its user-friendly interface was designed even for first-time users.
