Behind these results is a system of academic and institutional support designed to prepare students for both licensure and professional practice. FEU integrates board preparation directly into its curriculum through structured review programs, rigorous clinical practice, and evidence-based instructional design.
“We make sure that all the bases are covered, so to speak, from regularly checking the quality of instruction on the part of our faculty and facilities, to preparing and motivating the students to pursue the highest level of achievement,” said FEU IHSN Dean John Yason.
The Institute operates the Virtual Integrated Nursing Education Simulation (VINES) Laboratory, which features human patient simulators and high-fidelity equipment that replicate real clinical environments. Students also undergo extensive training through hospital and clinic affiliations across Metro Manila and nearby provinces.
FEU’s support infrastructure includes the Center for Learning Enrichment and Research for Students (CLEARS), an academic unit focused on improving foundational skills through tutoring, enrichment modules, and individualized academic assistance.
Programs under IHSN also carry respected accreditations: PAASCU Level III status for its Bachelor of Science in Nursing, and PACUCOA Level II for its Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology. Both programs are also certified by the ASEAN University Network-Quality Assurance (AUN-QA), aligning FEU with international standards and regional academic competitiveness.
These results point not only to student excellence but also to a consistent institutional approach grounded in preparation, practice, and support. From foundational learning to licensure, FEU’s academic system equips its students with the confidence and skillset to meet the demands of real-world healthcare.
In a field where the stakes are high and expectations are constantly evolving, FEU continues to deliver reliable, well-prepared graduates who are ready to serve their communities and the broader industry.
