The Philippine national women's football team booked a slot in the AFC Women's Asian Cup in Australia next year after beating Hong Kong, 1-0, in the qualifiers at the National Olympic Stadium in Phnom Penh on Saturday.
Winning all three games in Group G, the Filipinas booked the lone ticket for the Asian Cup, which serves as a qualifier for the 2027 FIFA Women's World Cup in Brazil.
Chandler McDaniel scored the lone goal in the fourth minute with a tap-in inside the penalty box.
