The Philippine national women's football team crushed Saudi Arabia, 3-0, to start its AFC Women's Asian Cup Qualifiers campaign on a high note at the Olympic Stadium in Phnom Penh Sunday evening.

Jaclyn Sawicki sets the tone for the Filipinas as she scored a tap in goal in the 16th minute via an assist from Meryll Serrano.

In the 55th minute, it was Serrano's turn to score with a left-foot volley for a 2-0 lead with an assist from Chandler McDaniel.

Alexa Pino scores a goal in the 81st minute to seal the deal for the Filipinas.

The Philippines will next face host Cambodia on Tuesday at 8 p.m. at the same venue.
