Uncorking a good time

Fun overflowed at the Cork Wine Bar and Shop, one of Manila’s premiere wine destinations. Maison Barrière, in collaboration with the wine bar, hosted the Bordeaux Rendezvous 2025. The Philippines was one of the stops of this prestigious Southeast Asian tour. The rest of the stops also includes Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur and Singapore.

It was a one-of-a-kind experience! We got to try 65 wines from 21 Grand Crus Classés Châteaux. Where else can you try the region’s finest vintage wines? I was lucky to join many VIP guests — including First Lady Liza Marcos and Senator Chiz Escudero. Together we got to appreciate so many flavors and treat our tastebuds to the finest wines.

Such a delicious and luxurious celebration! More than that, it celebrated the craft and tradition of Bordeaux winemaking. Huge thanks to Cork and the team for inviting me to this exclusive event. Cheers!
