From nature-inspired crafts to meaningful storytelling sessions and milestone partnerships, Book Nook once again reaffirmed its promise to be a community-driven space for discovery and inclusion.
Through inclusive and thoughtfully designed activities, Book Nook inspired individuals of all ages to connect, learn from one another, and grow together in a spirit of curiosity and collaboration.
May opened with Pressed with Love, a flower pressing workshop held at Book Nook SM Podium. Participants of all ages explored the meditative and delicate art of preserving flowers — transforming simple petals into keepsakes of calm and creativity. The activity offered a tactile, nature-rooted way for guests to connect with mindfulness and slow artmaking.
Celebrating literature and community learning, Book Nook welcomed young readers from Barangay San Nicolas, Pasig City for the Read With Us session — organized in partnership with IBBY Philippines, Southern Voices Printing Press and Vibal Foundation.
Children were treated to a joyful storytelling experience featuring Nakisisilong, the 2025 Severino Reyes Medal-winning book by Eljay Castro Deldoc and Richard Red C. Elli. The award-winning story encouraged the values of empathy and shared space, echoing Book Nook’s mission to build safe, nurturing places for all.
