A thrilling new chapter in Filipino dance entertainment is set to unfold as GMA Network unveils “Stars on the Floor,” the country’s newest and most star-studded dance reality competition. Premiering on 28 June, the show brings together ten celebrity-digital creator duos in a high-energy, high-stakes showdown of talent, rhythm, and charisma.

Each week, celebrities from film, TV, and social media will pair with rising dance influencers to deliver showstopping performances. Their goal: impress the judges, win the hearts of the audience, and ultimately take home the title of Stars on the Floor Grand Winner.

Hosting the competition is Asia’s Multimedia Star Alden Richards, whose charm and energy set the tone for a series filled with thrilling challenges, dramatic eliminations, and spectacular collaborations.

At the heart of the show is The Dance Authority, a powerhouse judging panel composed of Marian Rivera, Pokwang, and Jay Joseph Roncesvalles. Rivera brings emotional depth and authenticity to her critiques, seeking performances that speak to the soul. Pokwang adds humor and heart, emphasizing storytelling and impact on the audience. Roncesvalles, known for his viral choreography with SB19, evaluates technical precision and creative innovation.

Together, they will mentor, critique, and guide each pair toward dance floor glory.

What sets Stars on the Floor apart is its fresh format — celebrating collaboration between mainstream celebrities and digital creators. Each episode will showcase a range of dance styles, from ballroom to street, TikTok trends to theatrical numbers, bridging generations through the universal language of movement.

Beyond the competition, the show aims to uplift the local dance community by highlighting up-and-coming choreographers, online creators, and the vibrant culture of Filipino dance.

“Stars on the Floor” premieres 28 June on GMA Network and will air weekly.
