Jin Navitas Electric Corp. (JNEC), owned by businessman Jacinto Ng of the Rebisco Group, has secured a retail supply agreement with global pastry brand La Rose Noire under the Department of Energy’s Retail Competition and Open Access (RCOA) program.
JNEC said on Sunday it will serve as the new Retail Electricity Supplier for La Rose Noire’s production facility in Clark, Pampanga, which produces artisan pastries and breads exported to over 60 countries across five continents.
The shift is intended to enhance power reliability and optimize electricity costs, aligning with the brand’s global production standards.
“We are truly honored to be chosen and entrusted by a world-class brand that upholds global standards in product quality, hence, JNEC is fully committed to delivering efficient service to support La Rose’s continued excellence,” JNEC’s vice president for Business Development and Market Operations Jose Alfonso Miras said.

Founded by Swiss pastry chef Gerard Dubois, La Rose Noire supplies major hotels, airlines and cruise lines worldwide.
RCOA allows consumers to procure electricity directly from power generators, bypassing traditional intermediaries.
Under the current provisions of RCOA, businesses are allowed to make a choice and directly tap their energy supplier if they have a monthly consumption of at least 500 kilowatt hours.
