

Dumaguete City — The Medical City Clinic (TMC Clinic) has expanded its network with the opening of its 73rd clinic nationwide last 30 May 2025, which is located on the second floor of Filinvest Malls Dumaguete along Flores Avenue Extension in Barangay Piapi.
This marks TMC Clinic’s eighth branch in the Visayas-Mindanao (VisMin) region and its sixth in the Visayas.
The expansion, according to TMC Clinic, reflects its ongoing commitment to making hospital-quality, patient-centered care more accessible across the Philippines.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony celebrated the opening, attended by representatives from The Medical City leadership, Filinvest Malls Dumaguete, and local stakeholders.
The clinic is now fully operational, offering a range of outpatient services daily from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. These services include medical consultations, laboratory diagnostics, digital X-ray, 12-lead ECG, annual physical examinations, and pre-employment medical exams.
It was attended by Dr. Stuart A. Bennett, president and Group CEO of The Medical City Enterprise; Roberto Muñoz, president and CEO of The Medical City Clinic; and various TMC Clinic leaders.
Local partners were represented by Edward C. Du, president of the Negros Oriental Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NOCCI) and Reggie Reyes, Trustee of the Negros Oriental Dive Association.
Filinvest Malls Dumaguete leadership and operations team, including Thesbe Alonso, vice president and mall head for the VISMIN Cluster, also attended.
Doctors from the new TMC Clinic in Filinvest Malls Dumaguete were present, including specialists in internal medicine, pediatrics, ENT, pathology and radiology.
Through this new clinic in Dumaguete, TMC Clinic aims to continue its mission of providing Filipinos with patient-centered care that values their dignity and rights.
