Hongqi Philippines has officially introduced two new electric vehicles — the EH7 sedan and the EHS7 SUV — during the opening of its new Manila Bay showroom. The event was not only for the showroom launch but also marked the debut of these two new models in the country.

The EH7 is a sedan with sharp styling and strong performance. The top-spec version, which has all-wheel drive, can go from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.5 seconds. It features a motor that delivers 610 horsepower and 756 Nm of torque, and operates silently, like most electric cars.

This sedan also offers a long driving range of up to 650 kilometers on a full charge. With fast charging, it can reach 80 percent battery in just 20 minutes.

The EHS7 is the SUV version. It’s almost as fast, going from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds. It has similar features and tech, but slightly less range — up to 540 kilometers. Both models utilize the same 111 kWh battery and feature a dual-motor setup in their flagship variants. The Executive trims come with two-wheel drive and a lower price point for buyers who want a more affordable option.

Inside both the EH7 and EHS7, you’ll find high-end details. There are Nappa leather seats, two digital screens, and a large 63-inch augmented reality head-up display that shows key driving info on the windshield.

Both cars also use an intelligent damping system that adjusts to road conditions to make the ride smoother. The front windows are soundproof, and the cabin is quiet, even during traffic.

Design details include a panoramic sunroof with UV protection, hidden door handles that open with electric suction, and sleek lines that make the car look like it’s moving even when it’s parked.

The EH7 and EHS7 both received a 5-star rating from Euro NCAP. They come with Level 2 advanced safety systems, which include automatic emergency braking, a 360-degree camera system, and parking assist.

The prices are as follows:

The EH7 Executive (2WD) starts at P2.28 million.

The EH7 Flagship (AWD) is P2.88 million.

The EHS7 Executive (2WD) is P2.58 million.

The EHS7 Flagship (AWD) costs P3.08 million.

These prices include a full set of features, but those who order early also get extra perks. The first 30 buyers will receive a free 3kW portable charger and a 7kW wall charger. In addition, they’ll get six months of free charging or P50,000 worth of charging credits at EVOxCharge stations nationwide.

Interested buyers can view the EH7 and EHS7 at Hongqi showrooms located in Manila Bay, BGC, Alabang, and Quezon City. Orders can also be made online at hongqi.ph.
