Customer experience firm Foundever has launched Safe Space in the Philippines to promote inclusivity and workplace belonging through open dialogue.
Led by employee groups — Pride at Foundever, Women at Foundever, and Disability at Foundever — the program builds on the earlier She Speaks initiative and features monthly episodes on identity, allyship, and inclusion.
“At Foundever, we understand that people are at the heart of performance,” Willy Lim, Vice President for HR, Marketing, and Talent Acquisition, said on Thursday.
“Initiatives like Safe Space allow us to demonstrate, not just declare, our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.”
The pilot episode, hosted by Pride at Foundever, focused on LGBTQIA+ friendships and allyship.
“A true safe space is something you can feel,” highlighting the need to embed inclusion from onboarding,” Learning Specialist Khim Anthony Astillar said.
The second episode, led by Women at Foundever, focused on preventing sexual harassment.
As part of the company’s employee engagement strategy, additional sessions are planned throughout the year.
