Even before this date, a parish had already been established, bearing the name of The Most Holy Trinity, which remains the town’s patron. Its feast day is joyfully celebrated every Sunday after Pentecost, marking one of the most significant religious events in the local calendar.
In 2025, the town made history yet again by hosting its first Grand Marian Procession, where 28 sacred images were paraded through its streets — an awe-inspiring display of faith, artistry and community devotion.
