Hotel Okura Manila is launching its first-ever Thai Food Festival, offering guests a chance to indulge in authentic Thai flavors from May 30 to June 1, 2025, at Yawaragi Restaurant. The festival will showcase a special buffet curated by guest chef Phuvadol Chanasenee, Executive Sous Chef at The Okura Prestige Bangkok.

The three-day event will feature a selection of traditional Thai dishes, carefully prepared with seasonal ingredients and authentic techniques. In addition to the Thai offerings, guests can also enjoy Yawaragi’s signature Japanese dishes.

Buffet highlights include:

  • Scallop and Herbal Salad (Pla Hoi Shell)

  • Aromatic Chicken Coconut Soup (Tom Kha Gai)

  • Deep-Fried Seabass in Three Flavored Sauces (Pla Sam Rod)

  • Thai-Style Fried Rice with Crab (Khao Phad Poo)

  • Traditional Fried Noodles with Prawns (Pad Thai Goong)

  • Northern Style Curried Noodle Soup (Khao Soi Gai)

  • Mango Sticky Rice (Khao Niew Ma Muang)

  • Dates: 30 May to 1 June

  • Buffet Hours: 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM | 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM

  • Venue: Yawaragi Restaurant, 5th Floor, Hotel Okura Manila

  • Price: PHP 3,850++ per adult | PHP 1,925++ per child (ages 6–12) | Children 5 and under dine free

Guest chef profile:
Chef Phuvadol Chanasenee brings a wealth of international experience to the event. With a background spanning Australia, the UK, and Thailand, he has worked at renowned kitchens including Mercado and Koi Dessert Bar in Sydney, and The Sukhothai Bangkok. Currently the Executive Sous Chef at The Okura Prestige Bangkok, Chanasenee is known for blending traditional Thai flavors with modern culinary techniques, focusing on seasonal ingredients and regional specialties.
