6 Ilocos cops commended

CAMP PRESIDENT QUIRINO, Ilocos Sur — Six members of the San Juan PNP station were honored today (Monday) for exemplary performance and invaluable services they rendered in the PNP organization.
The awarding of the Certificate of Commendation was led by Col. Darnell Dulnuan and Lt. Col. Honesto Lazo, police director and deputy police director, respectively, during early Monday flag raising ceremony here.
Awarded were Major Benjamin Raquedan, chief of police; Lt. Reynald N. Ramos, deputy chief of police; PEMS Jimmy Pagador, PMSG Michael Ralf dela Cruz, Cpl. Edmar Garcia and CPL Diana Rose Baclig.
In their certificate of commendations given to the six awardees, Col. Dulnuan said that “For exemplary performance and invaluable services you have rendered during the implementation of a warrant of arrest that resulted in the successful arrest of the “Top 1 most wanted person” in the municipality.
“Such display of compassion is a strong manifestation of your dedication, devotion and unconditional services to the people worthy to serve as an example which gives inspiration for others to follow,” Dulnuan pointed out.
The commendation of the six police officers was brought about by the apprehension of a 42-year-old fugitive who was arrested last week for two counts of qualified rape in Barangay Bannuar, San Juan.
The arrest of the suspect came after a surveillance, prompted Major Raquedan to form a Tracker Team led by Lt. Reynald N. Ramos, who served the Warrant of Arrest against the subject person who was charged with two counts of Qualified Rape (RPC ART 266-B) under CC# 4651-K, 4652-K (not bailable).
The PNP hierarchy is granting certificate of commendations to deserving police personnel in its bid to motivate and boost the morale of the PNP and these form part of their “201 file,” a comprehensive collection of police’s records that maybe used in their future promotions in the service.
