Beneficiaries of the government’s Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino (4PH) housing program have begun moving into newly completed units across the country, as the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) continues to implement projects under the initiative.

In Nueva Ecija, several families have relocated to the Palayan City Township Project, a 23-hectare development in Barangay Atate. The site is among the first to see completed buildings occupied, with hundreds of other applicants still undergoing processing.

Progress is also underway in Mindanao, where housing units are being turned over in projects such as People’s Ville in Davao City and Valley View Township in Tagoloan, Misamis Oriental. Both sites are in advanced stages of construction, with residents already occupying some units.

DHSUD officials said the 4PH program aims to provide long-term housing solutions through the development of integrated townships, targeting low-income and marginalized sectors. The program is being carried out in partnership with local government units and the Pag-IBIG Fund.

Nationwide, dozens of 4PH projects are in various stages of development, with completed buildings in several areas now being handed over to qualified beneficiaries. The 4PH program forms part of the Marcos administration’s broader efforts to reduce the housing backlog and improve access to affordable shelter.
