CAMP TOLENTINO, Bataan — B/Gen. Jean Fajardo, regional director, motored all the way to Camp Tolentino, Balanga City, Bataan from Camp Olivas on Friday, 16 May to join the Bataan PNP personnel in offering thanksgiving for the most peaceful election the province probably has ever had recently.
As a gesture of gratitude following the safe, secure, and peaceful conduct of the polls last 12 May, the Bataan Police Provincial Office ( PPO), under the leadership of Col. Marites A. Salvadora, police directress, conducted a Thanksgiving and Boodle Fight for what she describes as election heroes for risking their lives and limbs.
Fajardo commended all personnel of Bataan PPO as well as their partner law enforcement agencies for their crucial role in ensuring the smooth and orderly conduct of the elections.
The police director pointed out that this simple yet meaningful gathering was a gesture of gratitude for the dedication, hard work, and sacrifice of all personnel, whim she called the true election heroes of Bataan.
Meanwhile, the Bataan Police Provincial Office (BPPO) led by Col. Marites A. Salvadora, police directress, still wanted to maintain the atmosphere of peace in the province.
Barely a day after the midterm election, Col. Salvadora led her men in holding what she called a strategic post-election meeting to assess the situation via Zoom meeting together with the Command Group and Chiefs of Police from all municipal and city police stations.
Held at the Bataan PPO Headquarters, Col. Salvadora pointed out, the meeting “served as a comprehensive assessment of the recently concluded elections.”
The agenda focused on evaluating the overall peace and order situation, identifying areas for improvement, and strengthening initiatives to ensure safety and security across the province, pointed out the police director.
In lauding her men, the Bataan PD acknowledged the “collective efforts of the entire Bataan police force in ensuring a generally peaceful, honest and orderly election.”
In appreciating the efforts of the PNP, media practitioners and other government forces who were behind the peaceful holding of election, Gov. Joet S Garcia, expressed gratitude to them for their collective efforts, making the election one of the most peaceful polls in Bataan.
