A delegation from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s (KSA) Ministry of Health is set to arrive next week to recruit 500 Filipino health workers, the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) said.
DMW Director for Pre-Employment and Government Placement Bureau Rosemarie Duquez said on Saturday that the hiring will be conducted through a government-to-government arrangement, where applicants will submit their requirements directly to the agency.
The positions offer a monthly salary starting at SAR 4,110 or approximately around P50,000-P55,000, along with free food and accommodation. Duquez noted that the salary is not subject to tax.
Applicants must have a degree in Nursing or Midwifery, a valid Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) license, at least one year of experience, and a work gap not exceeding two years. Other requirements include:
Cover letter and curriculum vitae with a colored passport-size photo
Copy of previous and current certificates of employment in the related field
Copy of valid passport
Two pieces of 2x2 photo
Certificate of DMW online PEOS (available on the DMW website)
Printed copy of Workers Information Sheet/E-Registration (also available on the DMW website)
Interviews will run from Monday, 5 May until Friday at the Saudi Recruitment Office in Makati City.
In other developments, Duquez said that 84 applicants were initially pre-qualified during the job fair on 1 May. Around 2,140 others who applied to multiple agencies will proceed to further interviews.
