Despite his recent eviction from Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition, Michael Sager is embracing the next chapter of his journey with optimism and gratitude.
The Kapuso actor took to Instagram on Monday to share photos taken outside Bahay ni Kuya, along with a heartfelt message reflecting on his PBB experience.
“I walked into PBB with hope and walked out with family, growth, and a heart full of gratitude,” Michael wrote.
He also expressed appreciation to those who supported him from the outside world, adding, “Thank you to everyone outside who believed in me, your love carried me through it all.”
Ending on a hopeful note, he declared, “And so it begins.”
Among those who quickly showed support was Michael’s PBB partner-in-crime, Emilio Daez.
Commenting on Michael’s post, Emilio wrote, “My brother for life.”
Emilio, who was evicted alongside Michael, also shared his own reflections on Instagram.
Opening with humor, he wrote, “Kuya, ako nga pala yung sinaing mo,” before turning serious about his decision to leave the corporate world last year in pursuit of a showbiz career.
“Pursuing my passion has brought me to places I never could have imagined, and walking into the PBB house was one of those moments I’ll always be grateful for,” Emilio shared.
“I entered the house with a smile on my face, excited and hopeful for whatever was ahead. Today, I walk out with that same smile, carrying memories, lessons, and friendships that I’ll hold onto for the rest of my life.”
Both Michael and Emilio — fondly dubbed “MiLi” by fans — were the first male housemates to be evicted this season. They followed the exits of celebrity duos Ashley Ortega and AC Bonifacio, and Charlie Fleming and Kira Balinger.
Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition continues to air on GMA Network, with new episodes at 10 p.m. on weekdays and 6:15 p.m. on weekends, showcasing the ongoing journeys, surprises, and emotional moments inside the iconic house.
As for Michael and Emilio, their PBB journey may have ended, but it’s clear that their story — both individually and as brothers forged through experience — is only just beginning.
