DINGALAN, Aurora — A new road will provide tourists going to tourism attractions in this province easier access.
According to a statement released by the Department of Public Works and Highways, the Aurora District Engineering Office has completed the construction of the Tanawan Access Road in Barangay Tanawan, Dingalan.
The said access road is a key infrastructure project aimed at enhancing tourism and supporting local economic development.
According to District Engineer Roderick Andal, the project was implemented in two phases under the agency’s Tourism Road Infrastructure Program and is expected to greatly improve access to Tanawan Falls, one of Aurora’s premier natural attractions.
“The access road spans a total of 0.412 kilometers, with Phase I covering 0.068 kilometers and Phase II extending an additional 0.344 kilometers. The project was completed at a total cost of P28.24 million,” Andal said.
He also noted that the improved road ensures safer, faster and more inclusive travel to Tanawan Falls, while also enhancing access to essential services, generating employment, and boosting local businesses to drive sustainable economic growth in Dingalan.
