Cat guy

Some people are pet crazy.
Brenda Ruth Deutsch, 70, of Missouri, USA, was recently reported by an anonymous caller to the police for allegedly leaving an under-17 foster child alone in an unsanitary house filled with exotic animals in Texas, Fox News reported.
Police rescued the girl who told them that Deutsch informed her friend in Texas that they could keep her in exchange for one of the exotic animals, according to Fox News, citing court documents related to the child abuse case.

The girl also told investigators that Deutsch hit her with “a lot of different things,” including a paddle and shoes.
The child swapped for an exotic animal was transported to child protective services in Texas. Deutsch was arrested last week to face charges of child abuse, neglect and child endangerment.
Meanwhile, a 71-year-old man’s home in Pahrump, Nevada was raided by police on 2 April following public complaints about his pets.
Police also arrested Karl Mitchell for refusing to turn over his seven cats on top of the lack of permits to keep the animals.
Mitchell disputed the permit requirements of Nye County for his seven tigers, arguing that they were his emotional support animals and the public was not in any danger from them, NBC News reports.
The Americans with Disabilities Act, however, does not recognize tigers as emotional support animals, according to NBC News.
Wildlife refuge workers took custody of the big cats acquired by Mitchell from former Oklahoma zookeeper of Netflix fame, “Tiger King” Joe Exotic, for transfer to an animal sanctuary.
Mitchell was detained at the county jail but posted $6,000 bail for his temporary freedom ahead of his scheduled court appearance on 15 May.
