Kaunlad Pinoy, partylist #133, has launched a new commercial this week promoting its vision of becoming every Filipino’s partner in starting and growing small businesses.
The ad delivers an inspiring message: with Kaunlad Pinoy 133, dream businesses can become daily realities.
Targeting informal sellers, sari-sari store owners, food vendors, and microentrepreneurs, the ad highlights Kaunlad Pinoy’s pledge to provide crucial support, from startup capital and tools to access to ingredients, supplies, and mentorship.
“From startup capital to sourcing ingredients, we are here to support your livelihood,” the ad states.
Kaunlad Pinoy’s core message: it wants to be the business partner in Congress that many Filipino entrepreneurs have never had.
“We’ve seen so many Filipinos trying to build something from scratch,” said James Christopher “Kuya Choi” Napoles, the partylist’s first nominee. “They sell banana cue, barbecue, ukay-ukay, or online goods — but they do it alone. Kaunlad Pinoy wants to change that.”
Through the ad, Kaunlad Pinoy aims to connect with voters who feel excluded from formal economic programs. It presents its team not just as politicians, but as partners, ready to assist in turning business ideas into reality.
The group vows to push for legislation that simplifies business registration, improves access to microloans, and lowers the cost of supplies. They also propose establishing local support hubs where vendors can receive training, mentorship, and resources to grow their enterprises.
