What we will miss

For the public who made Ang Himala Ni Niño their pre-noon viewing habit, it will be the life lessons it imparts on a daily basis specifically on compassion, faith, importance of community and family, that they will most miss.

Ang Himala Ni Niño is the counter programming that works big time because it allows its audiences to realize there is nothing outdated with values, good manners, right conduct, faith and prayers, kindness and morality.

One of Ang Himala Ni Niño’s biggest draws is its emphasis on faith and miracles, whether big, small, bordering even on the mystical. Having faith always leads to positive outcomes and happy resolves. Nino’s personal experiences and the manner of triumphing over obstacles are testaments to the power of faith and the inspirations and healing that it brings -— always a wonderful reminder that there is hope, plenty and provision.

With his friends in Bukang Liwayway, family and members of the community that he treasures, the inspirational television drama gives significance to the value of human connection.

And the best realizations that Niño followers have gained from the show are how it presents the joy that simple things bring and why kindness is always a game changer. It reminds us to find contentment and fulfillment in simple things and instances, such as a warm hello and jokes shared, everyday meals shared with family, playing with friends, respecting and honoring elders and purity of one’s heart.

Ang Himala Ni Niño is a fine example and reminder that content on television must not be limited to the usual singing and dancing competitions, beauty and brawn segments, longish banter and gimmicks of the host and earning a quick buck.

Don’t miss the finale of Ang Himala Ni Niño this Friday as is will surely leave a mark in your heart. Witness the power of miracles, faith and love, 11:15 a.m. on TV5 before Eat Bulaga.
