We’re in trouble

Something must really be wrong with some of the alter egos of the President, except for DoH Secretary Ted Herbosa, DTI Secretary Cris Roque, and PEZA Chief Tereso Panga who keep the light of trade and economic progress and activities burning bright.

From a consistently upward trust rating since assuming the presidency, PBMM’s numbers have dropped to an unprecedented level in three years.

The survey, done from 15 to 20 March by Publicus Asia, four days after the “kidnapping” of Duterte led by that abusive PNP idiot, General Nicolas Torre III, indicated a huge shift in public sentiment.

The approval and trust ratings of most government officials, notably Speaker Martin Romualdez, Senate President Chiz Escudero and even Chief Justice Alexander Gesmundo, showed a downward trend possibly attributed to the serious political divisions among the power elite, aside from the unresolved high prices of basic goods, making most Filipinos believe they are more miserable than before.

Most view the objective conditions as worsening and it’s not getting any better as indicated by PBBM’s approval and trust ratings plunging to 19 percent and 14 percent, respectively.

The public sentiment

We never wished for this precarious situation. We would support any government initiative that we believe would bring improvement to our people’s lives. In fact, in many of our previous materials, we tried to raise the hope that this administration would succeed, thinking of course that its success would be beneficial to us Filipinos, the majority of whom are mired in poverty.

Despite the harsh and unrelenting attacks by officials identified with the administration and with the CPP, Vice President Sara Duterte came out as the only high official whose approval rating improved this quarter. The positive survey rating reversed the continuing slide of the Vice President prior to the delivery of FPRRD to the ICC.

Obviously, the reversal from negative to positive of Inday Sara indicated that whatever may be the wrong perception of the people attributed to the black propaganda and the untoward behavior of Representatives Castro, Flores, Manuel, Paduano et al. against her suggested that enough is enough.

It exposed a political persecution aided and sustained by dole-outs, if not direct bribes by the Lower House leadership. The rating also indicated a deeper public divide in the ongoing political rift between President Marcos and the Duterte faction.

Filipinos, here and from all over the world, expressed dismay and anger over the shabby treatment by the stupid, abusive idiot General Torre of FPRRD and the admitted coordination by administration officials with the International Criminal Court.

The incident generated the massive support which is unprecedented in world history. No person, a past leader at that, has ever been so adored and loved by his people that they took the initiative to show how indignant they are of those responsible for delivering the former president to the ICC.

Of course, the drug dealers and syndicate supporters from the legislative, legal profession, NGO/PO, and individuals who see just one side of the coin never relent from showing how unfair and evil they are against a previous leader who brought peace and tranquility to the people during his reign.

Something must really be wrong with some of the alter egos of the President, except for DoH Secretary Ted Herbosa, DTI Secretary Cris Roque and PEZA Chief Tereso Panga who keep the light of trade and economic progress and activities burning bright.

Aside from the politically wrong move of conniving with the ICC, massive corruption at the DPWH and other agencies affected PBBM’s rating.

DoF Secretary Ralph Recto’s name comes up every time an opportunity to mingle with the people to hear their sentiments comes up. They strongly believe that PhilHealth funds, idle or not, are for the benefit of the members and not for anything else. There are “sleeping funds” because PhilHealth officials were either lazy or incompetent to do their jobs.

Well, we should keep up because this nation is in trouble.
