Manila Hearing Aid, the country’s pioneering leader in hearing care, held its first-ever community run, the Sound Sphere AI Run: Changing Mindsets, Changing Lives, recently at the University of the Philippines Diliman.
The event aimed to raise awareness about hearing health and celebrate innovations in hearing care in line with National Hearing Month.
Since its establishment in 1976, Manila Hearing Aid has remained at the forefront of making hearing care accessible.
As part of its advocacy, the run gathered doctors, families, professionals, and even patients in an inclusive event that emphasized the importance of hearing health.
Participants took part in 1K, 3K, and 5K runs across the UP Diliman campus, promoting an active lifestyle as an essential component of overall well-being.
“This run is more than just a race — it’s a movement to inspire change and champion hearing accessibility,” said Dr. Liza Abaño-Robles, president of Manila Hearing Aid.
Alongside the run, Manila Hearing Aid introduced the Phonak Audéo Sphere Infinio, a groundbreaking AI-powered hearing aid designed to enhance speech clarity.
With its Deepsonic chip, the device can separate speech from background noise, reducing listening effort and improving communication.
It also features Spheric Speech Clarity, allowing users to hear effortlessly from any direction while ensuring seamless connectivity across multiple devices.
