The Final Destination franchise returns with its latest installment, Final Destination: Bloodlines, set to hit Philippine theaters on 14 May 2025.

Warner Bros. thrilled fans on 25 March with the release of the film’s chilling trailer.

The two-minute preview teases the story of a college student Stefanie Lewis, played by Kaitlyn Santa Juana, as she fights to protect her family from an unavoidable fate. The trailer hints at a "grisly demise that inevitably awaits them all.”

The film revolves around Stefanie discovering that her grandmother, Iris, once defied death — an act that now threatens her entire bloodline. “It all started with Grandma. Death is coming for us because we were never supposed to exist,” Stefanie warns in the trailer.

Joining Santa Juana in the cast are Teo Briones as Charlie, Richard Harmon as Erik, Owen Patrick Joyner as Bobby, and Anna Lore as Julia.

A standout moment in the preview features horror icon Tony Todd, reprising his role as William Bludworth. In what is said to be his final film appearance following his passing in November 2024, Todd delivers an eerie message: “Only by embracing death will it pass you by. Good luck.”

Final Destination: Bloodlines, directed by Adam Stein and Zach Lipovsky, is the franchise’s sixth and final installment.

The screenplay is written by Guy Busick and Lori Evans Taylor, based on a concept developed by Jon Watts, Busick, and Taylor.

The horror sequel will premiere in U.S. theaters and IMAX on 16 May 2025, with international releases — including the Philippines — starting 14 May 2025.
