The Southern Police District (SPD) recorded the lowest number of index crimes within the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) for the period of 8 to 14 March 2025 — a total of seven index crimes, all of which were successfully solved.
This is further highlighted by the decrease in index crimes in SPD over the past two weeks, showcasing the district’s ongoing success in reducing criminal activity.
The reduction in index crimes aligns with the district’s focused effort to ensure public safety and maintain peace within the community.
SPD stands out for its effective law enforcement efforts, immediate police response and strong community partnership.
The district’s success was attributed to intensified police presence, intelligence-driven operations, and strengthened collaboration with barangay officials and force multipliers.
SPD remains committed to its mission to maintain peace and order within its jurisdiction and assures the public of its continued commitment to safety and security.
The district urges residents to remain watchful and to report any suspicious activities to their nearest police station or through official communication channels.
“This achievement is a manifestation of the dedication and hard work of our police officers, as well as the cooperation of the community. We will continue to uphold our mandate of ensuring a safe and secure environment for all,” said SPD director Police Brigadier General Manuel Abrugena.
