The Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) has teamed up with the Civil Military Operations Regiment of the Philippine Army to host the highly anticipated 7th PCCI Fun Run in 2025.
The event, scheduled for 6 April at the HPA Grandstand in Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City, is more than just a race—it’s a call to action for hope and solidarity, aimed at raising vital funds for disaster victims and communities struggling in the aftermath of natural calamities.
Following the success of last year's PCCI Cares Run For A Cause, this year’s fun run broadens its focus to support a range of humanitarian initiatives.
Funds raised will go toward immediate disaster relief, long-term rebuilding efforts, and essential aid for families devastated by natural disasters throughout the country. The event stands as a reminder of the power of collective effort and the impact it can have on rebuilding lives.
The 7th PCCI Fun Run 2025 promises an exciting day for participants of all levels, from seasoned athletes to first-time runners. The race will feature engaging experiential zones, exclusive race kits with commemorative bibs and wristbands, lively entertainment, and post-run festivities. Additionally, there will be a heartfelt tribute to past beneficiaries and this year’s recipient communities.
"This year, we're excited to shift gears with a color-themed fun run," said Bryan L. Ang, Vice President for Trade Facilitation and Director for the CSR Committee. "With support from the Philippine Army and a new venue, we hope this marks the beginning of a long-lasting partnership. Our goal is to continue raising record-breaking amounts for the PCCI CSR relief program, and I’m confident we’ll surpass last year’s success."
Sergio Ortiz Luis, Jr., Honorary Chair and Senior Adviser of PCCI-CSR, echoed Ang's sentiments, sharing his pride in the event’s growth over the years. "For our 7th year, I’m proud to be part of this exciting, yet humbling activity. This fun run is an opportunity to express our gratitude to our members and partners in a relaxed setting while making a meaningful contribution to those in need," he said.
Ortiz Luis also invited the public to join the event, emphasizing the importance of community involvement: “We welcome everyone to lace up their shoes, bring their families and friends, and join us on April 6th for this festive fundraising event.”
Col. Marces Gayat, representing the Philippine Army, underscored the significance of the partnership, stating, “We are excited to support PCCI and host this year’s Color Fun Run. We stand behind their advocacy of helping disaster-stricken communities and invite all Filipinos—runners and non-runners alike—to participate in this noble event. Let’s come together in unity and enjoy the run for a cause.”
Safety remains a top priority for the event, with robust measures in place to ensure a secure experience for all participants. Douglas Castor, Assistant Race Director, highlighted the support of the Armed Forces and additional safety protocols, including directional signage and race marshals along the route.
Gia Veloso of the PCCI-CSR Committee also reassured attendees, stating that ambulances and medical personnel would be on standby, with a hospital located within the camp for immediate care if needed. “We’ve worked closely with Col. Gayat and the Philippine Army to ensure the safety and well-being of everyone,” Veloso confirmed.
The PCCI Fun Run 2025 is more than just a race—it’s an opportunity for the community to come together, show compassion, and make a tangible difference in the lives of Filipinos affected by disasters. Every step taken on April 6 will help bring hope and support to those who need it most.
