Ayala Land dominates FinanceAsia Awards with multiple wins

Ayala Land, Inc. (ALI) secured multiple awards at the FinanceAsia Achievement Awards held in Hong Kong on 26 February. The annual event recognizes Asia Pacific’s most outstanding deals, institutions, and financial leaders, celebrating those who redefine capital markets in the region.

ALI was named Best Issuer – Corporates, APAC, surpassing top issuers from Australia, China, Hong Kong, New Zealand, and other key markets. This distinction highlights the company’s strong financial management, strategic fundraising, and commitment to sustainability-driven financing solutions.

The company’s P6-billion 10-year ASEAN Sustainability-Linked Bond also received high honors, winning Best Structured Finance Deal in Southeast Asia and Most Innovative Deal in the Philippines. As the first ASEAN Sustainability-Linked Bond issued in the Philippine capital market, the transaction underscores ALI’s pioneering efforts in integrating sustainability into its financial strategy. The bond is linked to environmental performance indicators, reflecting ALI’s dedication to advancing sustainability while ensuring long-term value for investors.

Adding to its financial leadership, ALI’s Chief Finance Officer, Augusto D. Bengzon, was recognized as Best CFO – Corporates, Southeast Asia, receiving the highest number of votes from market participants. This award highlights Bengzon’s role in driving ALI’s financial strategies, ensuring fiscal resilience, and spearheading innovative capital-raising initiatives that align with the company’s long-term growth and sustainability goals.
