
Dave Montemayor displayed grace under pressure as he pulled off a dramatic victory in the 7-Eleven Trail recently at the Timberland Heights in San Mateo, Rizal.
Montemayor emerged as the fastest biker after posting one hour and 47:06 minutes to rule the overall male category of the 40-kilometer cross-country mountain bike challenge in the ninth edition of this event that continues to be the gold standard for endurance and skills in the mountain bike racing community.
Aside from the bragging rights, Montemayor also pocketed a cash prize of P25,000 while James Carl dela Cruz (1:47:07) and Jerico Rivera (1:48:29) took home P15,000 and P10,000, respectively, in this tourney that serves as a testament to the brand’s commitment to promoting a healthy lifestyle and fostering an appreciation for the great outdoors.
In the overall female category, Nicole Quiñonez won the title followed by Shagne Yao and Adel Pia Sendrijas while Cleo Dale Morales, Laurent Briel Ballog, and Jan Aldred Dominic Ong topped the 16-18 male event.
Philippine Seven Corporation president and chief executive officer Jose Victor Paterno congratulated all winners and expressed his gratitude to their passion in promoting a healthy lifestyle.
