TNT once again escaped Rain or Shine's clutches, this time in a 93-91 thriller in Game 2 of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) Commissioner's Cup semifinals at the Philsports Arena Friday evening.
The Tropang Giga now have a 2-0 lead in their best-of-seven series despite veterans Jayson Castro and Rondae Hollis-Jefferson leaving the court in the fourth quarter.
A jumper by Rain or Shine import Deon Thompson sparked an 11-0 run with 6:01 left to trim the lead down to two points.
