Jeri's heartfelt plea: 'Ako Na Sana' delivers a hopeless romantic's anthem

Up-and-coming singer-songwriter Jeri Violago is capturing hearts with his new single, Ako Na Sana (I Wish It Were Me), a song dedicated to all the hopeless romantics out there.

The Tarsier Records artist has also released a compelling music video, drawing inspiration from reality dating shows, where he searches for the one to complete his heart. The video features Jae Miranda as the host, and Erika Davis, Julia Santiago, and Kanata Tapia as the single ladies vying for Jeri's attention.

Ako Na Sana is a product of Jeri's own songwriting talents, expertly produced by ABS-CBN Music's overall creative, content, and operations head, Jonathan Manalo.

Jeri's journey in the music industry began at a young age, with appearances in various shows and singing competitions. He also showcased his talent in Ryan Cayabyab's theatrical plays from 2014 to 2016. During the pandemic, he delved into music production and songwriting, and had the opportunity to be an opening act for prominent OPM artists such as Over October, Vina Morales, Jona Viray, Bo Cerrudo, Marco Sison, Nonoy Zuniga, and many more.

In 2023, Jeri released the singles Di Ka Mag-iisa (You Are Not Alone) and Gusto Kita (I Like You). He was also recognized for his talent, receiving the Best New Male Artist award at the 2023 Aliw Awards.
