Tulfo, Go lead SWS Senate poll; 8 admin bets in top 12

Eight administration-backed senatorial candidates secured spots in the top 12 of the latest Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey on voter preferences for the May 2025 midterm elections.

ACT-CIS Rep. Erwin Tulfo topped the poll with 45 percent voter support, followed by Senator Bong Go of PDP-Laban with 38 percent. Senator Lito Lapid placed third with 36 percent.

Former senate president Tito Sotto and independent candidate Ben Tulfo tied in fourth to fifth place with 34 percent. Senator Bong Revilla climbed to sixth to seventh place with 33 percent, after previously ranking 11th to 13th in January.

Also in the top 12 are Senator Pia Cayetano (33 percent), former senator Panfilo Lacson (32 percent), former senator Manny Pacquiao (30 percent), Makati City Mayor Abby Binay (30 percent), and TV host Willie Revillame (30 percent).

The survey, commissioned by Stratbase Group, was conducted from 15 to 19 February 2025, through face-to-face interviews with 1,800 registered voters nationwide. Respondents included 300 from Metro Manila, 900 from Balance Luzon, 300 from the Visayas, and 300 from Mindanao.
