Nadagdagan ang bilang ng mga eskwelahan na nagkansela ng kanilang klase bilang pakikiisa sa paggunita sa ika-39 na anibersaryo ng 1986 EDSA People Power Revolution.
Una nang nagdeklara ang tatlong unibersidad nitong nakalipas na linggo ng suspension ng mga klase -- ang University of the Philippines, De La Salle University at University of Santo Tomas sa kabila ng pagkakadekalara lamang na ang Pebrero 25 bilang ‘special working holiday’.
Sa ngayon, mahigit 70 kolehiyo, unibersidad at mga high school n a ang sumunod na nagdesisyon na magkansela ng klase.
Kabilang sa mga lungsod na nagkansela ng klase ay mula sa Manila, Quezon City, Marikina City, Parañaque City, Las Piñas City, Makati City at Mandaluyong City.
Maging ang mga unibersidad, college, high school at elementary school mula sa labas ng Metro Manila ay nagdeklara na rin ng suspensyon. Kinabibilangan ito ng Pasig City, Cavite, Cebu City, Baguio City, Pampanga, Puerto Princesa City, Cauayan City, Batangas City, Lucena City, Negros Occidental, Tacloban, Butuan City, Tarlac City, Alitagtag, Antipolo City, Tagbilaran City, Baggao, Cagayan, at Davao Oriental.
