Filipino billiards icon Francisco "Django" Bustamante added another trophy in his collection after clinching the 29th Annual Jay Swanson Memorial title after beating Can Salim of Germany, 11-9 at Griff’s Bar & Billiards in Las Vegas, Nevada last Thursday.
This was sweet revenge for the 61-year-old Bustamante after he was defeated by Salim, 8-7, earlier in the tournament
The pool legend will pocket $10,000 for winning.
Currently, Bustamante is competing in the Las Vegas Open.
Bustamante first won 2-0 against home bet Bobby Garza in the first round before getting swept by Ralf Souquet of Germany, 0-2, in the first round of the winner's bracket.
Bustamante will play in the second round of the loser's bracket on Saturday at 8:30 a.m. (Manila time).
