Myrtle Sarrosa is back on primetime television! The former Pinoy Big Brother winner announced her return to the small screen via social media, expressing her excitement about joining the cast of GMA Network’s My Ilonggo Girl.

"Hindi ako si V—almond. I am Venice. And Venice is back for vengeance— with a new face that will change everything," Sarrosa wrote on her social media accounts.  "I’ll be back on television on the drama My Ilonggo Girl  on GMA Network & GMA Public Affairs every night!"

Sarrosa expressed her gratitude to GMA, Sparkle GMA Artist Center, Director Rado, the entire production team, and Jillian Ward for entrusting her with the role of Venice in Book 2 of the series. As a proud Ilongga, she shared her enthusiasm for being part of the show and asked for viewers' support.

Sarrosa's career has blossomed since winning Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Edition 4 in 2012. She quickly launched her acting and recording career, appearing in television dramas like Kahit Puso’y Masugatan and becoming a regular performer on ASAP. She also released a digital single, Your Name, with Young JV, which topped the MYX charts, and became an "Anime Jockey" for Hero TV.

Her musical career also flourished with the release of her self-titled album featuring the hit single Mr. Kupido, which earned her a nomination for Best New Female Recording Artist. She also showcased her versatility by hosting shows like iCosplay and becoming a regular feature on Umagang Kay Ganda. Sarrosa even competed in Your Face Sounds Familiar and was relaunched as a Star Magic Angel on ASAP.

Sarrosa's talents extend beyond acting and singing. She has also written songs for other artists, including Jennylyn Mercado and Maja Salvador. She has starred in various television series and films, including Moon of Desire, AFGITMOLFM, La Luna Sangre, and The Good Son. She has also been a cover girl for FHM Philippines multiple times and served as a muse for the Barangay Ginebra San Miguel basketball team.

In 2020, Sarrosa transitioned to GMA Network, where she initially played antagonist roles in Nagbabagang Luha and Makiling. Now, she's ready to take on a new challenge as Venice in My Ilonggo Girl, portraying a character seeking vengeance. Fans eagerly anticipate her performance and the drama that will unfold in the series.
