Administration-backed Alyansa Para sa Bagong Pilipinas has reiterated its focus on outlining legislative priorities with focus on economic recovery, infrastructure expansion, better access to education, healthcare reforms and stronger national security policies.
This, as the administration bets are set to kick off a massive campaign at the Cuneta Astrodome in Pasay City on Tuesday where they are expected to reinforce Alyansa’s core message of unity and continuity, solidifying its role as the driving force behind the sustained progress of the Marcos administration beyond 2025.
It is expected to draw thousands of supporters, including local officials and grassroots leaders from across the National Capital Region, ensuring that Alyansa’s campaign begins with a strong foothold in the capital.
Home to 13.48 million residents, NCR has 7.32 million registered voters, making it a critical stronghold in the 2025 elections. The region played a crucial role in the 2022 polls, where 5.96 million people cast their ballots.
In that election, President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. secured 3.26 million votes, sweeping all 17 cities and municipalities in Metro Manila -- a victory the administration now aims to replicate by securing a strong Senate slate.
