The fiancé of disc jockey and influencer Jellie Aw is now being hunted by the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) due to allegations of abuse.
NBI director Jaime Santiago said they are pursuing the vlogger’s boyfriend. He recounted asking Aw if she would forgive the man if he knelt before her, to which she replied no.
Santiago said the complainant wants to teach the man a lesson and wants him jailed.
The NBI director said that if they are lucky, they may apprehend him within the day so he can answer for his crime.
To recall, Aw filed a complaint with the NBI on Thursday against her fiancé for alleged abuse.
A photo of Aw’s bloodied and bruised face went viral online after an incident of abuse.
Santiago, on the other hand, called on victims not to tolerate abuse, adding that victims should not allow their boyfriends to abuse them because there is no “I love you forever” in such situations.
“If you are abused, he no longer loves you because you should never hurt women. This applies not only to physical abuse but also verbal abuse,” Santiago said.
