CEBU CITY — Munus, a legal technology firm, has officially launched Ligala, a cutting-edge digital law office platform, in partnership with CD Asia.
The event, held last 29 January at Mizu, Waterfront Cebu City Hotel, brought together key stakeholders in legal tech and innovation.
The launch was attended by the Munus-Ligala team from Manila and Canada, led by CEO Atty. Minette Ramos, CIO Reda Marie Ricamara-Talusig and CFO Gil Somblingo, alongside CD Asia’s president Atty. Lou Sitaca and vice president Atty. Meyose Libunao, representatives from ID Meta, and esteemed members of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines.
Designed to modernize legal practice, Ligala offers a seamless, secure, and efficient digital law office solution. Lawyers can manage cases, access legal resources, and collaborate with clients remotely, enhancing accessibility and productivity in the legal profession.
“Ligala is more than just a digital tool — it is a movement toward a more inclusive, tech-driven, and efficient legal system,” said Atty. Michelle Mendez-Palmares, head of Community at Ligala.
“With the support of CD Asia and our partners, we are shaping the future of legal services in the Philippines,” added Atty. Minette Ramos, CEO of Munus.
The collaboration with CD Asia, the premier provider of digital legal resources, ensures that Ligala integrates top-tier legal research tools into its platform. This partnership underscores a shared commitment to leveraging technology for legal empowerment.
“Through our partnership with Ligala, we aim to bridge the gap between traditional and digital legal practice,” said Atty. Lou Sitaca, President of CD Asia. “This platform will equip lawyers, especially young practitioners, with the tools they need to thrive in the modern legal landscape.”
With its launch, Ligala is set to revolutionize legal practice by making it more accessible, efficient, and technology-driven. Munus envisions further collaborations with law firms, bar associations, and government agencies to expand Ligala’s reach and impact.
