Former president of the United States Joe Biden has signed with a talent agency in Los Angeles two weeks after leaving the White House, and the current president is not having it.
While speaking with reporters in the Oval Office on Tuesday, U.S. President Donald Trump was asked if he knew about the post-presidency plans of his predecessor.
“I think he's got much bigger problems than that, but I wish him well,” he said.
Trump added that the previous administration was a mess and that he intends to make America great again.
Biden has signed with Creative Artists Agency (CAA), which represented him from 2017 to 2020, according to the agency.
“President Biden is one of America’s most respected and influential voices in national and global affairs,” co-chair of CAA, Richard Lovett, said in a statement.
While CAA is typically associated with major movie stars and A-list celebrities, it’s not unusual for the agency to also collaborate with politicians and social advocacy organizations.
