Deployment ban sa Kuwait, hindi inendorso ng DFA

Ipinaliwanag ng Department of Foreign Affairs ang posibleng pagpapatupad sa deployment ban sa bansang Kuwait. Ayon kay Undersecretary Eduardo De Vega, hindi nila ieendorso ang pag-ban sa deployment ng mga Overseas Filipino Workers o OFW sa nasabing bansa.
Dagdag pa ni De Vega, kung ipapatupad man ito ay dapat muna itong pag-aralan, hindi daw mabuti kung ito ay babawiin din agad kalaunan matapos ang implementasyon nito.
Nilinaw din dito na ang hindi nila pag-endorso sa pagkakaroon ng ban ay hindi ibig sabihin ay pinabayaan na nila ang kaso ng mga nasawing OFW sa Kuwait.
