After an aborted try, Jason Brickman is ready to knock on the Philippine Basketball Association door anew.
The heady playmaker said he is planning to join the Annual PBA Draft after getting denied at the last minute in 2021 due to incomplete requirements required for Filipino-foreign players.
Brickman is in town to power Strong Group Athletics in the 34th Dubai International Basketball Championship that kicks off this week.
He looks fit and deadly after spending four years with the Kaohsiung Aquas in the T1 League in Taiwan.
“I’d like to enter the PBA so I’m looking forward to the next draft, I hope I can enter,” said Brickman, who will definitely be one of the oldest draft applicants at 33 years old if and when his plan of joining the PBA pans out.
Brickman is said to be one of the best Filipino-foreign players outside the PBA.
Aside from being a decorated collegiate player, who emerged as the fourth NCAA Division I player to post more than 1,000 assists while playing for Long Island University, he is also a brilliant playmaker who can dictate the tempo and take charge when the game is on the line.
