The Philippine national women's futsal team picked up its second win in the AFC Futsal Women's Asian Cup qualifiers after a 2-0 victory over Turkmenistan at the Yunusobod Sport Complex in Tashkent Wednesday evening.

Goals from Katrina Guillou and Dionesa Tolentin in the 23rd and 30th minutes, respectively, puts the Philippines on top of Group C with a 2-1-0 win-draw-loss record.

This sets up an explosive match against Australia, which won its first two games, on 19 January in the same venue.

Only the top two teams per group and the best third-place squad in the qualifiers will make it to the Futsal Women's Asian Cup in China from 7 to 18 May.
