There’s a dirty revelation about rock star Tommy Lee by his wife Brittany Furlan.
During her guesting on the online podcast Off The Vine hosted by Kaitlyn Bristowe, Furlan spilled the beans on her 62-year-old husband’s hygiene habits.
“He doesn’t shower a lot, but he’s very neat,” she told Bristowe, adding that the Motley Crue drummer showers once a week, USA Today reports.
Dermatologists recommend daily showers for adults to prevent the buildup of dirt, oil, debris and bacteria.
“If we allow too much buildup of bad bacteria that we’re not washing away, that can flare eczema and that oil, dirt and debris can clog the pores and cause acne and folliculitis,” dermatologist Michelle Henry pointed out, according to USA Today.
While soap should be used when bathing to be clean, using body wash is also good. There are many choices of soap and body wash in the market.
In Japan’s Kagawa Prefecture, which has the most number of udon noodle restaurants in the country, a unique bathing fragrance was recently introduced.
Starting 6 December, the innovative bath fragrance called “Sanuki Udon no Kaori Yu” was sold in the government-designated roadside rest area in the prefectural capital of Takamatsu on the Shikoku main island, The Asahi Shimbun (TAS) reports.
“Sanuki Udon no Kaori Yu” translates as “bath with the fragrance of Sanuki udon.” The bath additive reproduces the smell and color of udon broth such that bathers using it can feel as if they are udon noodles themselves, according to TAS.
Workers at the roadside rest area developed the udon bath fragrance and they plan to release variants. There is a caveat though.
“Our product makes the bath water smell so tasty that you may get the urge to drink it, but you shouldn’t,” an official of the facility cautioned.
