Comelec, PNP, AFP join forces for secure midterm elections
On Thursday, 9 January 2025, Commission on Elections (Comelec) Chairman George Erwin Garcia, Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief Gen. Rommel Francisco Marbil, and Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Chief of Staff Gen. Romeo Brawner Jr. held a press conference at the PNP Command Center inside Camp Crame, Quezon City.
The press conference discussion focused on possible areas of concern for the midterm elections and the launch of the National Election Monitoring Action Center (NEMAC).
