An international peace advocate — Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light (HWPL) — in partnership with the International Women’s Peace Group, has celebrated the momentous 2024 Year-end Peace Messengers’ Gatherings with the theme “Shining Together for Peace: A Night of Gratitude and Inspiration” on 28 December 2024, via online platforms.

The event brought together peace advocates, local government representatives, women’s groups, civil society groups, youth groups, members of the media and academia from different parts of the Philippines.

The virtual gathering highlighted key milestones in promoting peace through peace legislation, peace education, interfaith dialogues and youth and women empowerment.

Attendees were inspired by accomplishment reports and presentations of plans for 2025. The event also served as a renewal of commitment to the shared vision of building a world of lasting peace.

HWPL extends its heartfelt gratitude to all members and stakeholders whose unwavering support has been instrumental in achieving these milestones. Their contributions have empowered HWPL to expand its reach and impact, fostering a culture of peace in communities all over the country.

“We must help each other and work together to build a good world that is liveable for future generations. To do so, we must work under the banner of peace and work towards achieving global peace. We must make this a common goal shared by all of us and make that a legacy that will last for future generations,” said HWPL chairperson Man Hee Lee during the last World Peace Summit.

Reiterating these words, HWPL Philippines chief branch manager Rommel Garces encouraged members and supporters for their continued support.

HWPL also announced its plan to hold the 3rd HWPL International Religious Peace Academy, with three Saturday sessions on 11, 18 and 25 January 2025.

This live program gives religious leaders and individuals from all walks of life the chance to join meaningful discussions on scriptural comparison, deepening understanding and fostering interfaith harmony.

HWPL is committed to continuing its initiatives in the coming year, emphasizing education, legislation, and grassroots advocacy as cornerstones of its strategy to promote global peace.
