The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) reported the successful implementation of its Christmas travel operations, ensuring smooth and comfortable journeys for travelers during the peak holiday season.
CAAP credited its achievement to proactive measures, enhanced planning and close collaboration with airport stakeholders. Initiatives such as faster check-ins, improved baggage handling and efficient passenger flow management were introduced to address the holiday traffic surge.
“Christmas is one of the busiest times of the year, and we are pleased to have provided both international and local travelers with seamless travel experiences. Our efforts reflect our commitment to operational excellence, even during peak demand,” CAAP Director General Captain Manuel Antonio Tamayo said.
In line with the Department of Transportation’s “Oplan Biyaheng Ayos: Pasko 2024,” CAAP remains on high alert as New Year celebrations approach, prioritizing safety and efficient airport operations.
