JOLO, Sulu Province — The newly constructed Agriculture Multi-Purpose Training (AMT) Center in Patikul, Sulu was formally inaugurated with Sulu Gov. Abdusakur Tan as guest of honor and speaker.
Recently, Gov. Tan graced the inauguration and ribbon-cutting ceremony of the newly constructed Agriculture Multi-Purpose Training (AMT) Center located at Barangay Bangkal in Patikul, Sulu.
The AMT Center is located at the Office of the Provincial Agriculturist, Capitol Site. It will serve as a training ground for land tiller farmers and sea farmers.
In his speech, Tan said “This hub symbolizes the collective commitment to advancing agricultural development, strengthening innovation, and improving the livelihood of the farming communities in the province.”
Additionally, he said, “This will provide a valuable resource for fostering active engagement with the community.”
Tan also highlighted the commendable performance of the Provincial Agriculture Office and its commitment to fostering development in the province’s agricultural field.
He encouraged the Suluanos to “preserve and protect the environmental wealth that Sulu has and reiterated that natural farming imposed benefitable factors for the local communities in Sulu.”
Among those who witnessed the event was Sulu Provincial Women’s Council director Mrs. Nurunisah A. Tan and staff, department heads, and other employees of the Sulu Provincial Government.
