Actresses America Ferrera, Amber Tamblyn, and Alexis Bledel have voiced their support for Blake Lively amid her sexual harassment lawsuit against It Ends With Us co-star Justin Baldoni.
In a joint statement shared on Instagram, the actresses — Lively's friends and co-stars from the 2005 film The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants —praised her bravery.
“Throughout the filming of It Ends with Us, we saw her summon the courage to ask for a safe workplace... We are appalled to read the evidence of a premeditated and vindictive effort to discredit her voice."
They also criticized the use of domestic violence survivors' stories to silence Lively, calling it "astounding hypocrisy."
Lively's complaint alleges that Baldoni, Wayfarer Studios, and others subjected her and her team to inappropriate conduct, including discussions about sex, unsolicited explicit content, and unauthorized script changes adding graphic scenes.
Baldoni denied Lively's claims, calling them “completely false and outrageous.”
Support continues to pour in for Lively as the controversy escalates. Baldoni has since been dropped by his agency, WME, with no further comment from his side.
